Dakota Kai left her life in New Zealand behind to chase her dream of becoming a WWE superstar. Since arriving in the United States, Dakota has had a great deal of success. Kai is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion and has won two major tournaments in WWE. The sacrifices have been paying off.

Moving from across the globe to a new place comes with plenty of disadvantages. The global COVID-19 pandemic only complicates those challenges. Wrestlers frequently make the trek to America without their families and loved ones.

Dakota went for three years without seeing her sister, who was in Bali. Kai recently got a very pleasant surprise. She shared some pictures of an unexpected reunion orchestrated by her sibling.

“The last time my sister and I were together was 2018.. idk how she kept this surprise a secret but she did. My heart is full”
