Gable Steveson Teases Brock Lesnar Match After WWE Day 1

Gable Steveson’s terrific performance at the Tokyo Olympics helped make him a well-known name in the world of sports. WWE went the extra mile in getting Steveson to sign contract as even Vince McMahon personally met up with Steveson to sign him. It seems Steveson hinted at a feud with Brock Lesnar recently as well.

WWE finally managed to sign Gable Steveson to contract last year and put all speculation to rest as far as where the 21-year-old will go next. It was also reported that Gable Steveson signed a unique contract with WWE, which is exclusive in nature.

Gable Steveson also previously admitted that Brock Lesnar was huge influence in him signing with WWE as Lesnar’s career path was something Steveson found helpful. Lesnar also gave him once-in-a-lifetime advice during his freshman year in college.

At the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley. Gable Steveson took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself looking on at Brock Lesnar after he won the title, hinting at a possible feud somewhere down the line.

The company is also setting up remote training facility for Gable. Even Kurt Angle said he would love to be Gable Steveson’s manager. It remains to be seen whether Steveson will feud with Brock Lesnar one day or not.
