Liv Morgan has worked hard to establish herself as one of the mainstays of the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. Morgan received tons of fan backing over the past few months, which elevated her to the main event picture. It seems she opened up about one of her recent controversial promos as well.

For the past few weeks, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have been feuding with each other, as it escalated every single week. Morgan challenged Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship earlier this month on Monday Night RAW. It was also the main event of the show.

During their feud, Liv Morgan also said in promo that Becky Lynch’s contract was the reason her friends were released from the company. This naturally led to a lot of backlash as well.

While speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Liv Morgan talked about her controversial promo. Morgan said that she felt that she was defending her friend’s honor.

“I knew what I was saying might have been a little bit touchy just because it’s a sensitive topic. That’s my truth and that’s how I felt. My friends reached out to me afterwards and let me know how awesome they thought it was and how proud they were. I felt okay with it because I felt like I was defending their honor, they loved that I did it, and it’s just how I felt.

Becky has been getting so personal with me and I felt like I needed to bring her back down to reality real quick. I don’t want to offend anyone or anyone to be upset at what I said. In that aspect, I don’t like that. I don’t want people to be upset over something I said with no malice behind it whatsoever. Like I said, people are allowed to feel however they feel.”

Liv Morgan also recently attacked Becky Lynch during training session. Becky Lynch is set to defend her RAW WOmen’s Championship against Liv Morgan at WWE Day 1 on January 1st next year. We will have to wait and see how will end up winning this time.
