FTR Almost Assaulted A WWE Producer Backstage

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR were known as The Revival in WWE and had tremendous success in NXT as the NXT Tag Team Champions as they competed against several great teams. Their main roster run was uninspiring, to say the least.

After floundering on the main roster, they were finally granted their release by WWE last year and eventually made their way to AEW last year.

While speaking on Elite POV, FTR revealed that they wanted to beat up a WWE producer backstage for something he said about Cash Wheeler. In the end, it did not happen.

Dax Harwood: “We were in Greensboro and I walked by this area and I remember, ‘Oh, this is the room where a producer in WWE said something to Cash’ and he got so mad and he came to me and was like, ‘I’m going to fight this guy’. I said, ‘Alright, let’s do it’. We both waited and when we got done filming, we were going to beat the s**t out of him. He kept filming forever and we were like, ‘Ah, whatever’.”

Cash Wheeler: “We waited for like 30 minutes. I was determined. He was purposely trying to stay as busy as possible. He knew I was going to kill him.”

FTR is currently feuding with Sting and Darby Allin on AEW television, so it remains to be seen which direction their feud will take in the coming weeks.
