Heat On Anthony Ogogo After Recent Social Media Activity

Anthony Ogogo was rather outspoken on Twitter when he took a shot at Jonathan Gresham. Jordynne Grace, Gresham’s wife, joined in and defended her man. This resulted in some heat on Ogogo within his own company.

According to a report from Fightful Select, there is some heat on Ogogo backstage in AEW. The comments he made were not looked on favorably. The fact that Gresham and Grace made it clear that this situation was not a work did not help matters for him.

The general thought is that Ogogo thought he was doing an angle with a soon-to-be hot free agent. That backfired when it was made clear that this was 100% real on Gresham and Grace’s side. By the time that happened, Ogogo was already too far into the situation to back out.

Gresham is also well-respected throughout the pro wrestling world. That didn’t help Anthony Ogogo either.

There were others that we spoke with that said they prefer not to be clued in on social media “works” so they can create and give genuine reactions and responses.

This is a situation that could be “fixed, recovered, or forgotten about.” Most expect the situation to be resolved eventually. We will continue monitoring this story here at Ringside News.
