WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is one of the most legendary pro wrestlers in the history of the business. He is also a controversial wrestler and very opinionated, which hasn’t always worked out well for him. It seems Hart had an interesting take on his heel turn.

Despite all his controversy, Bret Hart’s influence on the pro wrestling industry is continued to be felt throughout the pro wrestling world. During the mid-90s he was at the height of his popularity as well.

While speaking with ‘q in cbc‘, Bret Hart talked his heel turn, most notably as part of the Foundation. Hart also stated that he believes Vince McMahon never understood the significance of his heel turn, as he was a Canadian bashing on the USA.

“It was just a great memory for me, and it was kinda like a chance for Canadians to, you know, give it to the Americans, and the Canadians got behind the role. It’s like, you know what, we’re gonna be bad guys with Bret Hart, cheering him on.

I Don’t Think Vince McMahon Saw How Big Me Being a Canadian Guy Bashing Americans Was.”

Bret Hart’s contributions to the pro wrestling industry can never be understated and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. We wonder if he will ever return to WWE in the future or not.
