Brodie Lee made his debut in AEW in March of 2020. Despite only spending a couple of months at the promotion, Lee quickly became one of the most celebrated names in AEW. When Lee tragically passed away in December last year, a plethora of wrestling personalities came out to pay their respects.

Lee passed away on the 26th of December, and with the anniversary of his passing away approaching, Tony Khan took the opportunity to pay tribute to Lee on his birth anniversary.

Tony took to Twitter to wish Lee a happy birthday, and also acknowledged his approaching death anniversary. While a year has passed since the tragedy, Tony said, Lee’s memory is still alive in his heart.

Happy Birthday to Jon Huber, known to the world as Mr. Brodie Lee & previously Luke Harper. Next weekend marks a full year since Jon left us, yet he’s still front & center in all of our minds because we’ve all kept him in our hearts. Please try to keep him in your hearts forever.
