Too Cool Gets Big Attention After Teasing Reunion

Scotty 2 Hotty recently shared a pic with his old pal Rikishi. The two made up the tag team known as Too Cool during the Attitude Era in WWE. Scotty captioned the photo, “Ready for 2022.” Sadly, Brian Christopher, the third member of Too Cool is no longer with us.

Fans took that as a tease of a possible upcoming reunion. FTR took it as a challenge. Cash Wheeler responded to the post via Twitter.

“We’ll pull up on Too Cool, too.”

FTR recently turned up at the Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV, where they attacked the Briscoes. They’ve been trying to get matches with every legendary team they can find. It sounds like they’re down to throw hands with Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty if they’re up for it.

Scotty 2 Hotty asked for and was granted his release from WWE earlier this year. He had been working as coach in NXT. Now he’s looking to return to in-ring action.

The team of Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi won the WWE Tag Team Championship once during their run. They defeated the Basham Brothers in February of 2004. They even successfully defended the championships at WrestleMania XX against The APA, The Bashams, and Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin.
