Shortly after the tragic news of the death of Jimmy Rave, the pro wrestling world came together to pay tribute. Superstars from every promotion, wrestling commentators and journalists, and fans from around the planet paid their respects. Rave passed away at the age of 39 on December 12, 2021.

A who’s who of professional wrestling shared their thoughts on the untimely loss. Wrestlers from promotions of all sizes recalled their fondness for Rave. He will be truly missed among the professional wrestling community.

Tony Deppen, Sami Callihan, Adam Peace, WarHorse, Shazza McKenzie, and others took to Twitter to reflect on Rave’s life and work. Many of them had worked with him in the past. Some were just fans. Others covered his career as journalists. All of them were heartbroken by his loss.

Jimmy Rave’s death was announced in a statement by Bill Behrens. It was co-penned by his daughter, Kailah. A flood of support for the family and friends of Jimmy came in moments after the bad news broke.

After a series of injuries and a battle with addiction, Jimmy Rave had an arm and both legs amputated. His fans and the wrestling community got behind him, constantly holding fundraisers to try and help. The love of wrestling fans, his peers, and those who knew him must provide a great comfort for his family.
