Mark Henry sounds like he’s definitely done with the in-ring part of his wrestling career. The AEW interviewer says he’s not getting back into the ring. He made the comment in response to a radio DJ’s question about whether he’d ever wrestle again.

Henry spoke with Large Dave of radio station i95. He said he’s enjoying his new role with All Elite Wrestling. He said he enjoys the community outreach aspect of his work the most.

“Man, I am a Jack of all Trades, I’ve been blessed to be able to master a few of them, I’m new to the announcing, and the backstage announcing, but I’m doing pretty good, and I’m enjoying doing it, but I’m most proud of being a part of our community team. To touch all of the members and fans of the communities that we go into, before we do our shows, that’s something special, we leave the place better than we found it.”

When Dave asked Mark if he’d step back inside a wrestling ring, Henry laughed at him. He said he’d call the police if somebody tried to hit him. Any fan speculation about a come back may be dead and buried.

“HA HA HA HA HA HA! I mean, Man, you made me laugh, I’m not getting back in there! If somebody hits me, I’m callin’ the police!”

The World’s Strongest Man debuted for AEW on May 30, 2021, at the Double or Nothing PPV. His last televised match was the Greatest Royal Rumble match in 2018. Some thought he may step into the ring after joining AEW. It appears that doesn’t interest Mark Henry right now.
