AEW has seen an influx of outside talent joining the company as WWE and Ring of Honor have flooded the free agent market with wrestlers. It is natural to wonder if the AEW originals who have been there since day one and never worked for another major company like WWE hold any resentment. Adam Cole says that’s not the case at all.

Adam recently sat down for an interview with Barstool Rasslin’ and was asked if he saw any divide between the two groups. Cole said in his experience, there is not. He’s fitting in nicely at his new home.

“It very much feels like the ‘you’re one of us’ thing. It very much feels like a team in every sense of the word. That was one of the more attractive things to me as well about AEW. You look at veterans.

Guys who’ve been doing this for a long time and you think, ‘Man, it’d be really, really fun to work with this guy.’ And then you look at the young crew of guys like Jungle Boy, Sammy, MJF, Darby, and you’re like, ‘Man, I could do some really, really cool stuff with these guys.’ It very much feels like a team effort.“

Cole said that the connections in the locker room extend to the AEW fans. He believes the company has something special. He believes All Elite Wrestling is a well-oiled machine.

Adam Cole made the leap from WWE NXT to AEW at the All Out pay-per-view. It was the same show where former WWE Champion Bryan Danielson first turned up. Fortunately, the influx of new, big-name talent hasn’t messed with the chemistry of the promotion.

What do you think of Adam Cole’s take on AEW’s locker room chemistry? Let us know in the comments!
