WWE has announced several matches for the upcoming episode of SmackDown. The show will air December 10 at 8PM eastern on Fox. The company is continuing its build to the Day 1 PPV on New Year’s Day.

Jeff Hardy will take on Happy Corbin on next week’s show. Additionally, Naomi will take on Sonya Deville. Deville and Naomi have been feuding for weeks. On last night’s SmackDown, Hardy and Drew McIntyre teamed up to attack Corbin and Madcap Moss on the Happy Talk Segment, setting up the bout.

Xia Li was drafted to SmackDown in October. Next week, she will make her debut after wrestling in several dark matches. The company has hyped her arrival with comic-style video packages.

On this week’s show, Sami Zayn took on Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Brock Lesnar also returned to confront Zayn at the start of the show. Lesnar also challenged Roman Reigns to a title match at Day 1.

The build to that Universal Championship match should continue next week, as well. Fans will have to keep an eye out through the week to see what else WWE has in store for the next SmackDown. This week’s title match left a lot of fans feeling disappointed.

Xia Li debut

WWE on Fox posted the entire Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn Universal Title match on their Twitter. From start to finish, the match featured two moves. Roman immediately speared Sami before tapping him out to a guillotine.
