Big E Wants To Face Childhood Hero Goldberg At WrestleMania 38

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is a legend in the pro wrestling business, especially making a name for himself during WCW. Goldberg previously admitted that he regretted not appreciating pro wrestling in the past. It seems Big E wants to face Goldberg at WrestleMania 38.

Many fans were simply tired of seeing Goldberg despite his limited time on WWE television. On the other hand, Big E previously made it clear that he really wanted to square off against Goldberg at WWE Crown Jewel last month.

While speaking on Barstool’s Rasslin’ podcast, Big E was asked which WWE Superstar he would like to face off against at WrestleMania 38. Big E made it clear he wants to face off against his childhood hero Goldberg.

“Then, my real number one as I have said 1000 times — but Goldberg is something very cool. I’m not saying we would have the greatest match of all time, but 10 minutes. Give me two minutes. I’ll be a one-minute man for that match. The opportunity to wrestle — this man was my childhood hero. I met him over 20 years ago, at a signing. I still have the 8×10 up in my house in the closet that he gave to me that he signed for me years ago. So I know there’s something very full circle about — the fact that it’s even possible is dope. So I would love to have one. Give me 90 seconds of a match.”

With Goldberg only having one more match left in his contract, it remains to be seen whether he will face off against Big E or not in the future. Fans would certainly love to see the two duke it out.
