Jon Jones made headlines recently after chilling assault allegations came his way. The MMA fighter will not get back in the Octagon any time soon, but he does have a match coming up against an undefeated Bellator fighter.

Jones announced via Twitter that he is set to take on Jake Hager in a grappling match. This match will go down under the Fury Grappling banner. Hager is an undefeated Bellator fighter and AEW star, so there could be a lot of interest in this contest.

Breaking News!! I’m excited to announce I’ll be competing for the number one grappling organization in the world, Fury Grappling! December 9th I’ll be in New Jersey competing against WWE superstar and undefeated Bellator heavyweight Jack swagger

We’ll have to see how this one turns out. Jake Hager has a big size advantage in this contest, and that could play to his advantage. In the meantime, we’ll sit back and enjoy the hype as Jon Jones is never one to skimp out on the promotion for anything he does.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
