During an August episode of Monday Night RAW featured RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair facing off against Nia Jax in a non-title match. However, the match was a very bizarre one, to say the least. So much so, that it even left Mick Foley confused.

Both competitors delivered stiff shots to each other and the match also included some awkward sports that made fans concerned, especially when Nia Jax delivered a botched backwards suplex to Charlotte Flair.

It was said that Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax tried to work shoot with their match on Monday Night RAW. Now it seems there is more to the story than initially thought.

While speaking on The Masked Man Show, Charlotte Flair talked about her controversial match with Nia Jax. Flair denied the match turned into a shoot fight and made it clear that she and Nia Jax are still best friends.

“Do you want me to FaceTime her? We are still best friends. You know what happened with Nia and I? You hit your friends harder. You hit your friends harder. It’s as simple as that.

I truly believe, anytime I have been in match with someone I feel super comfortable with and that is really what it was.”

Nia Jax was ultimately released by WWE recently, which came as a shock to many. We wonder if Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will have a similar incident at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view this week.
