Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television after dropping the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. That changed at WWE SummerSlam, where he made his shocking return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns. Brock officially came back as babyface, much to the delight of fans. It seems Paul Heyman is afraid of Roman Reigns but isn’t afraid of Lesnar.

Paul Heyman has worked with both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar over the years, as he helped elevate the status of both competitors thanks to his incredible promo skills.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, Paul Heyman explained why he is frightened of Roman Reigns but at the same time – he is not frightened of Brock Lesnar. It all comes down to Reigns simply leaving Heyman in the dirt if he stops being useful.

“This wise man, this Special Counsel is terrified of Roman Reigns, frightened of him in every moment because I know I am merely one misstep away at any moment from Superman Punching me or locking me in the Guillotine and leaving me for dead in the middle of the ring. Could happen like that (snaps finger).

On the other hand, that would never happen with Brock. This is because Brock Lesnar loves nothing and nobody except success, violence, and Heyman. That is not Roman Reigns feeling. Roman Reigns is a constant tap dance and audition to be invited back the next moment to stay on the ‘Island of Relevancy’ or you are no longer part of that circle.”

Brock Lesnar has not been seen since his loss to Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel last month. However, it is likely he will be returning next month on an episode of Friday Night Smackdown. It remains to be seen what is next in store for Lesnar once he is back.
