AAA World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have expressed their interest to add the prestigious IWGP Team Team Championship to their already impressive resume.

In an interview with, the duo said they are on a mission to prove that they are the greatest tag team of all time. They added that the ongoing partnership between AEW and NJPW has created tremendous opportunities for the wrestlers.

“The pandemic, obviously, slowed things down and shut things down for a year and this is the first time where we’ve kinda had the chance to go to Mexico, to go to Japan, if there’s ever a chance there sometime down the line,” Wheeler said.

“Now that these Forbidden Doors are open, we want the forbidden borders to open up a little more, too. Mexico is going to be great for us and, hopefully, it’s the first step on a long world trip for us.”

FTR are set to face former AAA World Tag Team Champions Lucha Brothers (Penta el 0M and Rey Fénix) in a tag team title rematch at Triplemania Regia II pay-per-view Dec. 4. FTR won the tag team titles from Lucha Brothers on the October 16th episode of AEW Dynamite.
