Undertaker Isn’t Sure Brock Lesnar Needed To Break His WWE WrestleMania Undefeated Streak

The Undertaker is a legend in the world of professional wrestling. His undefeated streak at WrestleMania remains one of the greatest streaks in the history of the business. He gave more than three decades of his life to the business and The Undertaker’s contributions will never be forgotten.

The Undertaker’s streak came to an end at WrestleMania 30 in 2014, where he was defeated by Brock Lesnar, in a move that shook the pro wrestling world to its core. Due to this his streak ended after 21 consecutive wins.

While speaking with The Dallas Morning News, The Undertaker was asked if he is bothered by the fact that his streak ended. The Undertaker revealed that he isn’t sure if Brock Lesnar was the right person to end his streak.

“I mean, on a selfish note it would have been nice to retire undefeated, but that’s not business. My career, like I said and I’ll say it over and over again, I’ve been incredibly blessed with what I’ve been able to do in this industry. And there comes a time where you’ve got to pay it forward. Although, I don’t know if Brock was the right guy. I like Brock, me and Brock are friends. I don’t know that Brock needed that win. Brock was a bona fide superstar at that point. So, I don’t know that he needed it.”

Even Jim Ross previously stated that The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak should have continued. The Undertaker officially hung up his boots at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. His final match saw him beating AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in a Boneyard Match. The Deadman is currently enjoying life after retirement and that is all the matters.
