Women’s wrestling, in general, has undergone massive growth and developed a lot of depth over the years, with various pro wrestling companies all over the world embracing how talented women wrestlers can be. Triple H previously stated that WWE has the best women’s division in the world, which led to a lot of backlash. It seems even The Rock shared his thoughts on the WWE’s women’s division.

WWE’s women’s division has seen a lot of growth, especially since the beginning of the women’s revolution in 2016. It saw the likes of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch headlining pay-per-views and main events.

While speaking to Present Company, The Rock talked about WWE’s current booking of the women’s division and the evolution of the division as a whole. He gave massive props to the company for its growth.

“What’s great about this is where we are today and the impact that women’s wrestling has had on that industry today is really spectacular compared to 20 years ago. Things were a lot different 20 years ago and even before that. Today, where they are at, they are headlining pay-per-views and really the female talent is, rightly so, being pushed to the front of the line and in these main event positions and they are all doing great, including my daughter. I’m very proud of all the women there.”

While The Rock is glad how the WWE women’s division turned out to be, Brie Bella had different opinion. It remains to be seen if the company will continue to give more focus on the women’s division or if it will become an afterthought once again.
