Jim Ross Gives Massive Props To Miro For Transforming His Character

Miro made his debut in AEW last year and there were lot of expectations from him as he had proven to be a great performer. Miro finally lived up to his potential after defeating Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. Since then he was booked as a very strong champion. It seems Jim Ross had a lot of praise for Miro recently.

Miro became a sought after champion in AEW. His pure dominance over his opponents has certainly put the pro wrestling world on notice. He would then lose the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara last month.

Prior to his dominant run as the champion, Miro largely floundered on AEW. He was involved in dull feuds with The Best Friends and barely had any character to him except his love for video games.

While speaking on Grilling JR, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross talked about Miro’s run in AEW so far. Jim Ross gave massive props to Miro for his transformation as a character.

“I love Miro. He has finally found who he is and he is not doing silly s*** anymore that they thought might work. We all thought it might work but what he has transformed to is amazing. He has a theme, he got a beginning, a middle and an end in every promo. He does not get out of his lane. He has his topic, he has his subject matter. He is going to present it in some shape, form or fashion.”

Miro was also furious over his AEW World Title Eliminator tournament snub. It remains to be seen what the company has in store for Miro as his momentum has stopped since losing the TNT Championship. Odds are, AEW has big plans for him in the future.
