Kevin Owens is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he made a name for himself in the independent circuit, including ROH, before making his way to WWE in 2014. Owens has had solid career in the company so far. He is also very passionate about pro wrestling in general.
Cody Rhodes recently took to Twitter and revealed that he is looking for a wrestling friend to be his daughter Liberty’s godfather, but no one has caught his interest. One fan took to Twitter and asked Cody Rhodes if Kevin Owens deserved the honor. Rhodes replied to the fan and initially said no, but changed his mind in the end.
“No. Kevin once kicked out of a disaster kick on 1 because “somebody” instructed him to. But he also introd’ me to the bucks and is my Disney bud – yea damn – he might be the frontrunner *crying laughing emoji.”
Kevin Owens saw Cody Rhodes’ tweet and decided to reply to it making it clear that he wants to become Cody Rhodes’ daughter’s godfather as well.
“That wasn’t me. The only time we ever faced each other in a match was in a ladder match. There are no covers in a ladder match! Now, when do I start the Godfather job?”
We will have to wait and see if Kevin Owens truly will become Cody Rhodes’ daughter’s godfather as well. If anything, this little interaction could see KO as a guest star on Rhodes To The Top.
