Dan Lambert’s American Top Team has been given a lot of focus in the past few weeks on AEW television. They are currently feuding with Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle and it remains a highlight every week. America’s Top Team is comprised of popular UFC fighters such as Jorge Masvidal and Junior Dos Santos. It seems Dos Santos wants to keep on wrestling as well.
It was recently announced that Junior Dos Santos will team up with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page to take on The Inner Circle on this week’s episode of AEW Rampage. A lot of fans are excited about the match and who will end up winning it.
While speaking with ESPN MMA, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos talked about his upcoming match on AEW Rampage. Dos Santos was also asked if he will compete in more wrestling matches after his in-ring debut. Dos Santos made it clear that he is definitely interested in continuing a pro wrestling career.
“Of course, of course. I’ve been enjoying a lot, everything I’ve been doing and to be back in the ring, to be fighting again, to be performing again and putting on the best performance for everybody to watch. It just feels amazing. And like Dan just told you, I’m very excited about this. I’m happy again, I’m feeling that good energy to go in there and put in a good performance, and make everybody happy or not about it.”
We will have to wait and see who will come out on top on next week’s episode of AEW Rampage as Junior Dos Santos is more than ready to decimate Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle. AEW is well aware of how to book their guest stars and so fans are guaranteed an entertaining match if not anything else.
