As ridiculous as it undoubtedly sounds, this may happen folks. It was actually in 2019 that Jason David Frank, the man who played the Green Power Ranger on TV, was supposed to face Ethan page. The match never came to fruition, plans falling apart at the last minute. They might try to make that match happen once again.

Ethan Page is a multiple black belt and a tremendous athlete. He proves so in the ring from match to match, and has been proving it since breaking into the business in November of 2006. He worked his way through the independent circuit, ROH and even Impact Wrestling where he made quite a bit of noise.

He’s a top heel in AEW right now and has had quite a few note-worthy feuds. His feud and subsequent Coffin Match with Darby Allin was quite the bout and moment for him. But when asked about how he felt about facing the Green Power Ranger, he had interesting statements to make.

It was while he was speaking with Tom Campbell on Desert Island Graps that he let the world know that he’d still be game if it was possible. On the scrapped match from 2019 and how close it actually came to happening, Page said:

“Very close. Graphics were made, approved. It was ready to go and then more money and I assume a better booking came by and it was, ‘Do I take another weekend convention or do I go wrestle this guy in his hometown?’ It ended up being a better business decision for the Green Ranger to go to a convention. But never say never, never say never.”

As for the Green Power Ranger, Jason David Frank, he’s had quite the time in the media over the years. he’s not only challenged MMA fighters – a sport he’s participated in – but he also went after action film and martial arts superstar, Jean-Claude Van Damme, as well as CM Punk. But perhaps he’s met his match with “All Ego” Etan Page. Maybe we’ll get to find out.
