Nick Gage Likely Returning To AEW

Nick Gage caused a huge stir when he showed up on AEW Dynamite. Domino’s Pizza reportedly had problem with that pizza cutter spot, but you can never rule out a return of The King.

Nick Mondo recently shed some light on Nick Gage’s future plans while speaking to Wrestling Inc. Although he did not provide any timetable, or whether Gage will do any more deathmatch wrestling for Tony Khan’s company, an AEW return is likely. The hardcore style is common in AEW and that could open doors for Nick Gage to do his thing once more.

“When we shot in the prison, that was just two days before he faced Jericho, so I got to kind of chat with him leading up to that. He was calm, and he was cool about it. Saw it as a real opportunity and it was. I don’t know this, but I believe they might be doing a bit more of the hardcore stuff on Rampage, and so maybe you’ll see Gage again. I don’t know, but I believe they’re going to do some more of that. But I think all of us are just so happy to see him get that opportunity.”

Nick Gage received a ton of attention thanks to his Dark Side of the Ring episode. He is still the face of GCW, depending on who you ask, but the one thing we can be sure of is that Gage is far from finished. He might just make a return to AEW eventually as well.
