WWE Reveals Queen’s Crown & King Of The Ring Matches For SmackDown

WWE has a lot going on right now as they prepare for another trip to Saudi Arabia. They are going to hold two tournaments at the same time, the King of the Ring is returning and they are introducing a new Queen’s Crown tournament as well, both are set to conclude at Crown Jewel on October 21st.

The company will begin the Queen’s Crown tournament on SmackDown this week. Liv Morgan will take on Carmella in the opening round. Also, Sami Zayn is set to take on Rey Mysterio in a King of the Ring opening round match. Since Zayn hasn’t been allowed over to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since that deal started, it’s likely he won’t go far in the tournament.

Becky Lynch will also sign a contract for her Crown Jewel match against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks. Another contract signing segment is planned for this week, so we’re probably getting promos out of everyone involved. The WWE Draft certainly shook things up, so that match is very interesting. The big question is whether we will see a big title change in Saudi Arabia.

All that and more is expected this week for SmackDown. They also have other matches to build for Crown Jewel, because that is the company’s primary focus at this juncture.
