Rhea Ripley Was ‘Standoffish’ When First Teaming Up With Nikki A.S.H.

Rhea Ripley is certainly one of the top female Superstars in the company and made a name for herself in NXT before being called up to the main roster. She was the RAW Women’s Champion earlier in the year and is still one of the mainstays of the main roster.

Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. were rivals as both competed for the RAW WOmen’s Championship for several months this year. However, they put their differences aside and became a tag team. They even went on to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

While speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Rhea Ripley talked about teaming up with Nikki A.S.H. Ripley admitted she was initially standoffish when it came to working with A.S.H but she came around and is now enjoying her tag team run with Nikki A.S.H.

“At first I was a little bit standoffish. But she is growing on me. She is such a good person, warm-hearted and positive. Sometimes you just need someone like that behind you, especially when you’re someone like me who just goes out there and brutalizes people. Sometimes I need to calm down a little bit, so I’m glad to have Nikki by my side. To be honest, I’m having the time of my life right now in this tag team. It’s a lot of fun. I do miss singles competition and do love it, but there are always times for a change.”

We will have to wait and see how Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. will be booked as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in the coming months.
