WWE has released a lot of people over the past few years, but Percy Watson wanted to leave the company. They granted his release and he went on his own path in the entertainment industry.

Watson was on NXT as a commentator and his job was solid. It is never easy betting on yourself, but that is exactly what he did. Now he has some film experience to show for it.

According to a report from Fightful Percy Watson worked on the Tom Holland film, “Cherry,” while he spent some time in Cleveland. That film has since received some notoriety.

Percy Watson actually spent time in Cleveland working on the set of a Tom Holland movie, Cherry. The film has been nominated for Golden Reel and ASC awards. It’s available on Apple+ now.

We will have to watch Percy Watson’s IMDB page from this point on to see if it grows. Odds are he will take all the experience he has and build from there. Percy Watson might just find himself circling back to pro wrestling, but it seems that he is concentrated on other pursuits right now.
