Adam Cole wrestled all around the world prior to making his way to WWE NXT. He had a stint in NJPW and he would like to do more of that. He has fond memories working the pro wrestling circuit prior to his time in Vince McMahon’s company and the world seems to be wide open for him.

While speaking to Oral Sessions, Adam Cole opened up about the forbidden door. He would like to go back to NJPW and work for that company more in the future. Now that he is All Elite then that is very possible.

“New Japan is something I’d like to do more of. I had done a fair amount of tours, it was almost 10. I got to wrestle at Koruakan Hall and the Tokyo Dome and Sumo Hall and all these really cool venues. I enjoyed my time there and right as I was kind of find my footing there or gain momentum, that was when I left. The chance to go back there would be really cool. I think back so fondly of my time in ROH. PWG, I had some of the times of my life there. I got my start in CZW, which is where I met Jon. There’s a bunch of really cool things that I would like to do. Independent wrestling is a blast.”

Adam Cole was welcomed back to The Elite with open arms, and he even resurrected from the dead. He is with a company that would allow him to work in NJPW if they can make things work with the pandemic situation we’re all still dealing with. Perhaps someday NJPW fans will be treated to Mr. Bay Bay’s talents once again.
