Adam Cole Wouldn’t Change Anything About His Time In WWE

Many fans would agree that Adam Cole was one of the top names in NXT after debuting back in 2017. He competed in some of the brand’s best matches and his importance to the brand can never be understated.

Adam Cole was done with NXT after TakeOver 36 as he brought an end to his feud with Kyle O’Reilly. Right after that, Adam Cole’s WWE contract also expired, making him free agent. On top of that, he didn’t sign another contract with WWE, so the world was truly his oyster.

The former leader of The Undisputed Era debuted at the end of AEW All Out and brought the entire pro wrestling world to a standstill.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Adam Cole talked about his time working in WWE and stated that he was thankful to the company for all the opportunities they provided and wouldn’t change anything about his time there for the world.

“I am so thankful for those four years. Again, when I was nine years old, my dream was to work for the WWE, and I got to do that for four years. I had so many amazing experiences, you know, I got to work alongside Shawn Michaels for four years, and develop a wonderful relationship with him, I mean, that was one of the absolute highlights of my time there. Again, Triple H was wonderful, that locker room was wonderful, those fans were wonderful. I learned so much there, and I got so many really cool experiences. So there’s not even a small part of me that was angry or upset in any way with the WWE. I had a really, really wonderful time, and I wouldn’t have changed it for the world.”

It remains to be seen whether Adam Cole will find as much success in AEW as he did in NXT for the four years he worked there.
