WWE’s next NXT TakeOver event will be the 36th special, but the location is a bit of an issue. There was thought of holding NXT TakeOver: 36 in Las Vegas, but the ship might have sailed on those plans. Now key officials in WWE will be in for some rough travel days.

We previously reported that WWE did consider holding the next TakeOver special in Vegas, but that isn’t happening. SummerSlam is still going down in Las Vegas, despite concerns that mandates might cancel the event. They are prepared for everything in WWE, and that includes long flights.

The company is holding tryouts in Las Vegas eariler in the week prior to SummerSlam. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted this will call for WWE officials to make some very difficult travel plans work, and they won’t be present for the week before TakeOver.

The problem is the key officials have to go to Las Vegas the week before Takeover for the tryout camp when they should be finalizing the show, and then fly back

Zoom calls can always be utilized to attend a meeting across the country, but they will still have to fly back for TakeOver: 36’s production on August 22nd, one day after the biggest party of the summer.
