Former WWE Champion and current WWE United States Champion Sheamus has had a great career in the company, winning multiple championships during his time in the company.
It has been quite a tumultuous time for Sheamus, ever since he won the WWE United States Championship after defeating Matt Riddle at WrestleMania 37. After his win, Sheamus would compete in matches on Monday Night RAW.
After suffering a broken nose at the hands of Humberto Carrillo back in May, Sheamus was out of action for a while. He finally returned from injury last month and has been wearing an interesting fast mask as well.
While speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Sheamus talked about Roman Reigns’ mic skills and Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley’s rivalry that took place earlier this year. Sheamus gloated that he is better than all of them and will prove that fact to everyone.
“I want people to talk about Sheamus forever, you know what I mean? I want people to, when they talk about WWE, they talk about Sheamus, The Celtic Warrior. I want to be unforgettable in the stuff that I do and, as I said, keep pushing on.
When I hear people talk about, ‘Oh, Roman Reigns cut a great promo,’ you know what I mean? Or Drew and Bobby and all that sort of stuff. I’m like screw that, I’m better than these guys and I’m gonna prove that I’m better than these guys.”
Sheamus will be defending his WWE United States Championship against Damian Priest after losing a match on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see if he will be able to retain his title or not.
