Jon Moxley made his debut at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then he’s had a terrific time in AEW, becoming the AEW World Champion and being involved in high-profile matches.

He also had a solid run in NJPW where he won the IWGP United States Championship and remained the champion ever since. He has also defended the title against the likes of KENTA and Yuji Nagata.

On this week’s episode of AEW Fyter Fest Night 2, Jon Moxley defended his IWGP United States Championship against Lance Archer in a brutal Texas Death Match.

It was an all out war as both competitors beat each other to a pulp. In the end, Lance Archer would win the match and became the new IWGP United States Champion.

After the show went off the air, Jon Moxley handed the IWGP United States Championship to Lance Archer. Moxley then raised Archer’s hand, with the Texas crowd cheering loudly for both of them.

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Jon Moxley now that he lost the IWGP United States Championship.
