Braun Strowman was released from his WWE contract, and many fans were shocked by that decision. He received a lot of attention from WWE, but releasing the Monster Among Men freed up a reported $1.2 million per year off the company’s bottom line.

Strowman still has some merchandise up on the WWE Shop. Some fans got a bit excited when an image started to circulate which appeared to show WWE was still listing new Strowman merchandise. Some saw this as a sign he is returning.

WWE has taken the “New” flag off of those items. It was obviously placed there in error. Braun Strowman’s merchandise is actually on sale for the most part. For some reason, the WrestleMania 37 t-shirt for Strowman vs Shane McMahon is still listed at $28.

There is no outward movement to bring Braun Strowman back to WWE. He was released and is now waiting out his non-compete clause. He is also reportedly charging $20k, plus ton of extra perks, to do appearances.

Following his WWE release, Braun Strowman received lot of praise from Mark Henry. After all, it was Henry who brought Strowman to WWE. Odds are Henry will try to get in Tony Khan’s ear about opening up his checkbook to bring him in.
