Charlotte Flair is one of the top female WWE Superstars in the company and has competed in many historic matches throughout her career. On top of that, she has won a WWE Women’s Title 14 times in her career so far.

Charlotte Flair has been largely criticized for getting undeserved title opportunities and title runs that should have gone to other more-deserving WWE Superstars. This continues to draw the ire of fans as she gets thrust into every conceivable title picture imaginable.

The buildup to WrestleMania 35, which featured Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair being involved in a feud, was one of the highlights of the year. The main event of WrestleMania 35 would see Becky Lynch defeat both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey to win both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championship.

Two weeks before the event, all three women appeared on ESPN SportsCenter to promote their match. ESPN’s graphic for Charlotte Flair saw the words “Daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair” below her name.

While speaking to Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Charlotte Flair talked about ESPN’s botch with their graphic and admitted how it still gets to her, even now.

“When ESPN put the Ric Flair daughter thing before WrestleMania 35, that still gets to me to this day. I’m like, ‘How is that what you put as my accolade when I’m sitting here beside Ronda and Becky?’ I still to this day, my conspiracy theory is that it was a fan who did it, like whoever was in the office was a legitimate [fan]. ‘I can’t stand Charlotte. She’s in this match for no reason.’ So I tweeted about that and how I felt.”

Charlotte Flair would lose the RAW Women’s Championship during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW after Nikki A.S.H cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase. We will have to see how Flair and Nikki’s feud will be booked.
