John Cena started by talking about how he ruined the championship celebration of Roman Reigns. He wanted to address any questions that fans had. Who brought him back to WWE? He said it was the fans, because they can finally connect once again.

Then Cena moved onto Roman Reigns, because The Tribal Chief brought him back as well. Cena said that he is after the Universal Title at SummerSlam. That is what is plans on doing.

When it comes to “Why?” Cena followed that by saying something that needed to be bleeped by the USA Network, but then the crowd started chanting “asshole,” so that’s what he said. “I think he needs to be knocked down a peg,” Cena continued. Then he started railing on Roman for being an overhyped, overexposed gimmick who isn’t as over as he says he is, “and that’s coming from me.”

It looks like fans didn’t have to wait until Friday to deal with the Universal Title storyline at SummerSlam. Roman Reigns was not on Raw to address Cena, but it’s likely that he won’t back down from that fight.

Then Matt Riddle came out and he said “bro” with John Cena, a lot.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
