Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has competed all over the world in various promotions, including WWE. He has competed for over three decades and has worked with the best of the best in the pro wrestling world.

Chris Jericho has often been referred to as the “G.O.A.T” in pro wrestling, which means Greatest of All-Time. Jericho also calls himself that but it seems Vince McMahon had no idea what the term meant.

While speaking on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast, Chris Jericho talked about how picked up G.O.A.T. from a rap song. Jericho then recalled the time where he had a hilarious interaction with Vince McMahon, who asked why Jericho called himself a goat.

“It’s funny because I started using that in 2016 when I came back, and no one even really knew what it was. I got it from a rap song. I remember Vince saying ‘Why are you calling yourself a goat?’ I’m like ‘it’s the greatest of all time.’ I wish it was a better name like a bear, or the rhino, but the G.O.A.T. kind of sounds dopey. Now of course, everyone uses it.”

Chris Jericho will remain the greatest of all time for many fans and pro wrestlers alike and that is unlikely to change anytime soon as he is still one of the mainstays of AEW television.
