Big E is undoubtedly one of the top Superstars on Friday Night Smackdown and had been on the receiving end of a push for the past few months as a singles competitor.

It would see him win the WWE Intercontinental Championship last year and he had a solid run as the champion before losing it to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania 37. Since then many fans would agree that Big E hasn’t been booked as well.

Kofi Kingston is set to face off against Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view on July 18th. On the past few episodes of Monday Night RAW, Bobby Lashley has been decimating Xavier Woods as a way to send a message to Kofi Kingston.

While speaking to Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Big E stated that Xavier Woods deserves more opportunities in the company and not just be a foil when Kofi Kingston has a singles run again.

“Kofi is a guy who has been around so long, but has never really just rested on his laurels. He deserves that opportunity.

“Another guy that I want to beat the drum for is my man, Woods. He’s a guy who has been extremely entertaining. He’s done a ton with UpUpDownDown and G4, and I think has really kind of paved the way, in certain ways. It’s inspiring to see so much talent who are inspired by him and his work ethic and his hustle.

“But he’s not just all those things, he’s a great wrestler as well seeing the match he had about a month or so ago with Riddle and tearing it up. So he’s a guy I want to be seen given more opportunities. Be given that singles run and not just be a foil when Kofi has a singles push.”

Big E is set to compete in the Money In The Bank Ladder match at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view as well. We will have to wait and see if he will be able to win the match or not.
