Eric Bischoff Says Accepting On-Screen Authority Role With AEW Would Be Backtracking

Eric Bischoff has appeared for AEW a few times, but he’s not interested in taking an on-screen role as an authority figure. When asked about taking a gig with AEW, Easy E didn’t seem interested.

Bischoff received a tweet from a fan asking, “would you ever be interested in an on screen role maybe a gm etc. for AEW?” This received a short reply from the former head of WCW, who was also WWE RAW GM for a spell, and that would be a hard “no” from Bischoff.

Been there done that. Better than anyone. No need to backtrack.

Eric Bischoff has already done just about everything you can do in pro wrestling. He obviously needs something more that can entice his interest before he agrees to a deal with AEW. If anything, Tony Khan will be able to call him whenever he’s needed for a Q&A segment on Dynamite.
