WWE brought Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart to the main roster last week as the duo debuted on Friday Night SmackDown. This also proved that WWE doesn’t really care what NXT has going on with their storylines as Nox had just returned at the Great American Bash to reveal herself as the Superstar behind those charging battery promos. The new team of Shotzi & Nox beat Natalya and Tamina in their blue brand debuts.

Former WWE referee Kimmy Korderas has been around to witness some interesting booking decisions in his day. He spoke about the call to bring Shotzi & Nox up in the way that they did during a recent Reffin Rant. After saying that champions shouldn’t compete in non-title matches, he also made a comment about how WWE shouldn’t have started Shotzi & Nox so far at the top.

“So this is their debut on the main roster and they get the surprise win over the tag team champions. You know, I get it, but where’s the slow build for these teams? I like them to attain that opportunity as opposed to getting it out of the gate, because now it feels like other than winning the championships everything else is a step back.”

We will have to see what WWE does with Shotzi & Nox, but they both got started in a big way last week on SmackDown. They also brought Shotzi Blackheart’s tank up to the main roster with the team. It is easy to see how they could be a very popular team, especially when live crowds return and see that tank rolling to the ring. Perhaps, WWE strapping a rocket to them that will see the two newcomers from NXT receive a much brighter spotlight.
