Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event will go down on July 17th, and they might bring back a former champion during the show. Chelsea Green was released from WWE, but her 90-day non-compete clause is almost up at this point. It appears she is very close to getting back to her old stomping grounds in Impact Wrestling.

Chelsea Green was Laurel Van Ness in TNA where she was the Hot Mess. Her name is apparently coming up a lot right now within the company and that could see her returning very soon according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Chelsea Green has been heavily talked of as coming back here of late and even hinted herself about the idea of bringing back Laurel Van Ness, which was her Impact name.

Chelsea Green has been very busy since leaving WWE. She started a new podcast and re-opened her online store. She has not announced any pro wrestling appearances yet, but that could start very soon as soon as she is able to talk to other companies.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. Chelsea Green could have a few options available for her, but Impact Wrestling already knows what she can do and it’s very possible that they went out of their way to lock her into a deal once again.
