WWE is holding another Breakout Tournament for the first time since 2019. Jordan Myles, aka Super ACH, won that first tournament, but he didn’t have the successful run with WWE that some thought he had waiting for him. They announced the next field of competitors during the Great American Bash tonight and every one of them have the capability of breaking out in a big way.

Trey Baxter, Carmelo Hayes, Andre Chase, Josh Briggs, Ikemen Jiro, Joe Gacy, Odyssey Jones, and Duke Hudson will be the eight men competing in this year’s tournament. That is a field loaded with potential, but there are also a ton of other hungry Performance Center trainees who are itching for the spotlight.

Some thought that Parker Boudreaux, who is sometimes labeled as a Brock Lesnar look-alike, tweeted out a tease for the breakout tournament last week, but he deleted it. Parker will have to wait for another opportunity, because his name was not called this time around.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
