Brian Cage and Ricky Starks are set to battle for the FTW Title at Fyter Fest, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the poster. The Machine is not happy about that at all and his frustration seems legit over this snub.

Cage, who is turning babyface, would have no reason to speak out about AEW’s Fyter Fest poster unless he was unhappy. The company totally snubbed that match in a city that is incredibly important for both Cage and Starks.

@starkmanjones vs cage only match announced and can’t get on poster after selling out. Ricky’s hone town, and Austin is the wrestling tent that I built. #wrestlecircus

Cage used #WrestleCircus because that was a promotion where he had some incredible matches in that city. Among other great showings, he faced Tessa Blanchard in an intergender contest for Wrestle Circus that is worth taking a look at.

We’ll have to see if Cage vs Starks gets a special poster, for Fyter Fest, but this was certainly a big snub for the two Team Taz members.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
