Zelina Vega surprised fans in a big way this week when she made her return to WWE television. It appears she will be wrestling much more this time around than she did during her first run with the company. Now Vega is in the Money in the Bank ladder match and looking for her WWE future.

According toFightful, WWE made an effort to stay in contact with Vega throughout the process of bringing her back. Several “influential names” were also pushing for the company to bring her back. It was not noted who those names were.
From the point of Zelina’s release, there were several influential names pushing for her to be brought back by the company.
It is unknown at this time if Vega’s Twitch stream was a part of her new contract negotiations. That was a big sticking point prior to her release from the company. She refused to give up that income and she also started an OnlyFans page where she sold photo for $100.
A lot of fans were pulling for Vega to join Andrade El Idolo in AEW. It was reported months ago that Vega was under contractual obligation that prohibited her from joining AEW. She also recorded vignettes with The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson at the WWE Performance Center, and Ringside News reported in April that the plan was to bring Vega back to the main roster.
