Jim Ross flubbed up his lines in a big way during the closing moments of AEW Dynamite this week. He said that nothing compares to the excitement of being at a live WWE Dynamite taping. Of course, that is not the name of the company he works for. Plenty of fans came down hard on Good ‘ole JR, but that wasn’t the case for everyone.

Jericho saw all of the shade coming Jim Ross’ way and he had to speak up. Le Champion laid down a very short, yet powerful tweet to let fans know that small mistakes will happen, even to the GREATEST wrestling commentator of all time.

Pointing out that small mistakes or no small mistakes, @JRsBBQ is the GREATEST wrestling commentator of all time.

Obviously, AEW isn’t going to get rid of Jim Ross. In his apology statement on the matter, Ross even made it 100% clear that he is not quitting. Pro wrestling fans are very critical and nobody is perfect. That can add an extra layer of pressure to anything done in front of wrestling fans and their judging eyes, but Jim Ross is very used to that after so many decades in the business.
