Ever Rise were gaining popularity and involved in some pretty funny on-screen activities, but their time with WWE is now apparently over.

Matt Martel and Chase Parker, formerly known as 3.0 on the indies, came into WWE after having a career outside of Vince McMahon’s company. They were gaining momentum with fans and doing their viral talk show, that might continue, but WWE likely owns the Ever Rise name.

Sean Sapp reports that Ever Rise was released today. We’ve been hearing about cuts since the early afternoon when Nick Khan called for more people to be fired. On that note, Nick Khan just bought sick second home for himself in California.

The Canadian duo are also good friends with Kevin Owens. He has gone out of his way to praise them in the past.

This is a big surprise, but the bad news in WWE is still coming. Now we will have to see who gets chopped next. More releases are expected. Keep checking back with Ringside News.

What’s your take on WWE releasing talent when they’re about to go back on tour? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
