Impact Wrestling is promoting their Slammiversary event in a big way. The July 17th pay-per-view will mark the return of live fans to Impact Wrestling. They will also debut a couple of surprises, something the company teased already.

Last year’s Impact Wrestling Slammiversary event used WWE’s April 2020 releases to teases new faces showing up in the Impact Zone. They did the same thing this year with the April 2021 crop of releases. According to Fightful Select, fans should expect to see a few surprises.

IMPACT sources that at least two surprises are planned for the show, with outside names making their way into the company, including one already under contract elsewhere, and one recent WWE release.

It was also confirmed that the company is looking for a “reinvigoration” of their women’s division. A couple great candidates were released by WWE recently that could help do just that for the Knockouts Division. This could be a very eventful pay-per-view.
