The Blue Meanie is beloved by pro wrestling fans all over, and it will be a very sad day when we lose him. He’s still alive and very active on social media. Try telling that to one person who recently edited his Wikipedia entry.

For some reason, someone edited the Blue Meanie’s Wikipedia page to say that he died on June 19th, 2021. That is not the case. We know this isn’t true because he was quick to tweet out a screenshot of this misinformation on Twitter along with a pretty funny caption.

How come no one told I was dead?! Jerks!! (Seriously though. Someone fix that sh*t)

It didn’t take very long for someone to “fix that sh*t” for the Meanie. Now he is marked as “alive” once again. We’re not sure why someone felt the need to say that the Blue Meanie died, but he is alive and well.

The Blue Meanie also commented to say, “I’m alive AGAIN! Man do I feel refreshed,” after someone took off the note on his Wikipedia page that he died on Juneteenth.

Sometimes fans will edit someone’s Wikipedia page as joke, but there really isn’t anything funny about this edit. Thankfully, the Blue Meanie is doing fine.

Is the Blue Meanie’s zombie form running his Twitter account now? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
