WWE is always looking for good people who can fill the spots needed backstage. This is in spite of the fact that they have just gone through some sweeping cuts internally to consolidate multiple divisions into one department.

According to PW Insider, NXT has a new writer. The company hired on George Carroll as an NXT writer. His previous credits include New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the USA and MLW. Carroll was backstage during NXT this week.

Another person that the company hired recently is actually being brought back to the company after being released. John D’Amico was let go in September 2020, but he is now back with the company as Director of Production Management for WWE Live events. He was with WWE for 31 years prior to his 2020 release.

The company is getting back on the road and they will need to bring on a few people to help out as some roles will be stretched thinner now. We will have to see if they bring anyone else on, because there is a bit of pull internally to hire on more producers for live events.
