Booker T Says Roman Reigns Is The Number 1 Guy In The Business

Roman Reigns is the current WWE Universal Champion and is one of the top Superstars in the company right now. He has proven himself to be an excellent champion with great character work and in-ring skills.

Roman Reigns’ reinvention as a heel has truly shown just how good he can be both as an in-ring performer and character. Roman Reigns was outright rejected by the WWE Universe when he was pushed as a top babyface for several years.

While speaking to Brandon F. Walker on the Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker podcast, two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T talked about Roman Reigns run in WWE, where he stating that Reigns has been the best in the business for the past three years.

“I’ve said for the last three years that Roman (Reigns) is the best guy in the business just because he’s a guy that goes out and performs at a very, very high level but everyone that work(s) with Roman, they have their best match. They come up another level. They may not ever have a match like that ever again but when they’re in there with Roman, Roman goes out and does everything he needs to do from a professional’s perspective, from a general’s perspective, to make everything about the match and give the fans what they want. So, he’s my guy. He’s the number 1 guy in the business right now.”

Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion for over 289 days and  it is unlikely he will be dropping the title anytime soon. He is scheduled to face off against Rey Mysterio at WWE Hell In A Cell on June 20. We will have to see if he will be able to retain his WWE Universal Championship or not.
