WWE has a lot going on during NXT’s two-hour broadcast tonight. We will have full coverage here at Ringside News. Io Shirai made her return to the black and gold brand last week in a big surprise to help out Poppy. She will be back this week to address her status.
It appears that Shirai’s return via Poppy is going to set the stage for more stories for her in NXT. As rumors of main roster call-ups are still circling, Io Shirai is returning to NXT television this week to address the fans.
In the brief write-up that WWE posted on the official NXT preview, it gave a couple options for the former NXT Women’s Champion.
Will she continue to set her sights on NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae, or is there something else the former NXT Women’s Champion is looking to accomplish?
We will have to see what Io Shirai has to say tonight on NXT. William Regal will kick off the show with his big announcement. Many fans are expecting to see Samoa Joe show up. The main event will be a tornado tag team match with Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher vs Grizzled Young Veterans.
Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai will also be in action as they take on Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter in tag team action. KUSHIDA will also hold an open challenge with the Cruiserweight Title on the line.
